Google page rank reinstated.
Wednesday, December 03, 2008 Tags Google 6 commentsThe pleasant surprise came out of the blue. I never expected or even anticipated that this blog will get back its Google page rank. It was 3 when it was stripped to zero about an year back.
Today, I see the familiar green band showing 3/10 when the mouse was kept hovering over it. Nowadays, I can immediately predict what the page rank is even without the help of the mouse. Quite a pair of trained eyes-eh?
While I thank the almighty Google for reinstating the page rank, I am still afraid they may take it back anytime. Last month, my Is It So? blog got back it some of its lost page rank.
I am happy that Google is turning a soft corner for bloggers. I wonder how many bloggers are happy today.

Congrats! That usually doesn't happen so well done. My question is though, what do you think caused the drop of PR? I'm constantly trying to evolve my site but don't want it to be harmed and lose PR. Just curious on your opinion.
Thank you Danka. I only suspect the sponsored posts in my blog as the sole reason for stripping the page rank by Google. Thats what I was led to believe by several blogs and forums.
Dranka, Google can do anything as it finds things go wrong, so Just try to develope your site.

I am curious as well as to the exact reason your PR went down, even if it cannot be readily pinpointed.
It's a bit disappointing when you don't get a reason at all. It's a shame they don't have some type of a resolution center or something of that nature.
Many of us put a lot of time and effort into these blog efforts and deserve something of that nature.
